If this is your first time exploring the docs, read this page first, then move into the feature you are most likely to use right away.
What Lystaria is
Lystaria is an iOS app that brings together planning, reminders, habits, journaling, reading, and personal support tools in one connected space. It is not meant to feel cold or mechanical. It is meant to feel like a place you can return to for clarity, rhythm, and care.
Instead of splitting your life across a dozen disconnected systems, Lystaria tries to let those pieces live together in a way that feels natural.
What these docs are for
These docs are here to help you:
- understand what each feature does
- learn how the app’s systems connect together
- figure out where to start
- answer specific questions quickly when something feels unclear
What you will find here
Each page focuses on a part of the app and explains what it does, how it behaves, and where it fits into the larger system.
How to use the docs
You do not need to read everything in order. Start with the feature you care about most, then branch outward as needed.
A simple path through the app
Reminders
Learn how to elevate the tools Lystaria offers to help you keep track of time and your most important actions. Reminders are not limited to one page, but are spread across three different views that can work together to support you even more fully.
Habits
Learn how this app can help you stay consistent in your daily routines. It is also a very forgiving system, designed to support you without pressure when things do not go perfectly.
Journaling
Use the journaling feature to your benefit. It is intentionally designed with more depth so you can organize your thoughts in a way that feels structured outside of your head. Create journal books, store entries within them, and even keep your own personal prompts inside each one.
Calendar
The Calendar feature helps you organize your most important events. Instead of tracking daily actions like reminders, this is where your life experiences can live within a schedule that makes sense to you. There are two different views available, so be sure to read the page to learn how to move between them.
Reading
Reading is not just a hobby, for some of us it is a way of life. This feature is packed with everything a thoughtful reading tracker needs. Run timed sessions and earn points, check in daily to maintain a reading streak, keep your books organized with filters, set reading goals, and so much more.
FAQs
This section covers the most frequently asked questions about the Lystaria app. You may find the answer you are looking for here, but if not, feel free to reach out directly through the contact page with any questions or concerns. If you need to report a bug, please open a new issue on the GitHub repository, and for feature ideas or enhancements, you can share them there as well.
Other features worth exploring
Lystaria also includes a range of additional features that support everyday life, emotional care, health tracking, and organization. While some of them are more lightweight, they still play an important role in helping the app feel more complete and supportive.
Mood Logging
Track your moods over time and build a clearer understanding of your emotional patterns. This feature helps you reflect, notice shifts, and keep a record of your emotional life in a more organized way.
Notes
Use Notes to store quick thoughts, ideas, reminders, fragments, or anything else you want to keep close without turning it into a full journal entry. It is a simpler space for things that still matter.
Bookmarks
Save and organize links you want to revisit later. The Bookmarks feature gives you a dedicated place for useful resources, articles, websites, and references so they do not get lost.
Checklists
Create and manage lists for tasks, routines, or anything else you want to break into smaller pieces. Checklists are especially helpful when you want structure in a lightweight and flexible format.
Toolbox
The Toolbox is designed to support your mental wellness in the moment. It offers a place for grounding and supportive tools when you need calm, regulation, or a gentler reset.
Health
The Health page helps you log personal metrics and exercise in one organized place. It is there to make important physical information easier to track and revisit over time.
Medication Manager
Use the Medication Manager to keep your medications organized in one dedicated space. This feature helps support consistency, clarity, and a better understanding of your routines.
Symptom Logger
The Symptom Logger gives you space to record what you are experiencing over time. This can help you notice patterns, track changes, and keep a more useful history of your health experiences.
A good way to approach this
Start with the system you use most often. Let the rest unfold from there. The goal of these docs is not to bury you in information. The goal is to make the app feel clearer and easier to trust.
